#5 (TEIEDN) From that spot there are two ending points, the rainbow and the treasure. #4 (PIBTHOB) Shift your focus to the streams below Thatchtop Mountain. #3 (NFBTFTW) Go past The Loch, as in something that is locked is not far, but too far to walk past. #2 (ATIITCD) Continue down Loch Vale (as in Vail meaning down) #1 (BIWWWH) Begin it at "Sky" pond + Lake of "Glass" in Colorado. You're finding the end of Forrests rainbow first and the treasures location at the end. It was at Glacier Gorge inside Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. I don't know how I'm ever going to get past this, but here it is: I had to give this game a proper end!Īfter 3 years of finally figuring this thing out, 8 months of waiting to go BOTG, I missed being the finder by a matter of hours. To the real searchers out there, sorry it took me so long. The USPS tracking code has long since expired, but the Shipment ID: MMN870SK8S1Q3 can still be verified at: I hesitated because I knew I was right, that Fenn would get the letter and it would change everything. I wasn’t sure how Fenn might respond to me or what it would mean for this (now global) search. I was hesitant, vacillating on when to send the letter because I was nervous. ![]() It was a reminder as I sent and received emails. On June 6 Fenn announced his treasure had been found.īefore I sent the parcel, it had rested on my desk for several months. Nine days prior to the announcement, on the May 28, I mailed a small package to Forrest Fenn. Take a leaf from Forrest's book, lie in more often and think until it hurts! Remember, don't sleep in like Jack did!įroggy was a growin' and-a he-did hide, ah ha!!! Froggy was a courtin' and-a he-did hide, so good!!! Froggy was a jumpin' three times, inside Being chased by a huntsman, around the old Creek side, ah HoB!!! You have to, somehow, tune in to Fenn's frequency and understand his intention. I know exactly why the treasure's resting place was so special to Forrest and why Forrest wanted his 'bones' to lie there. There is more than one HoB, There is more than one clue to get you to the correct county. ![]() If the treasure was still in its location I would be on a plane, looking at car-hire and accommodation, plus banking facilities. It's all about Fenn, from beginning to end. It allows me to go directly to the site where the chest was buried, and pick it up, (without spending 25 days searching the undergrowth, as Jack had to), if it was still there! My solve links in "The Big Picture", all of the mysterious clues/hints, a few hints I'm aware of from the book, and, most importantly, with Forrest's life.
